Carol's Story
I've been married for 43years ( 44 in Nov '11). I have two sons, two stepsons, four grandsons and two great-grandsons.
I did undergrad work in English and Art at SIU Carbondale. At Chicago State University, I received two Masters Degrees - one in Reading and the other one in Administration. From 1964-1996, I taught at Carver High School (English, Counselor, Reading Specialist, Gifted Program Coordinator, Grant Writer). The last 16 y...Expand for more
ears were split-mornings at Chicago State University where I administered a program for gifted high school students and then afternoons at Carver.
In 2004, after 8 years, I retired as the principal of Hendricks Math and Science Academy. Now, I'm more active in my sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Theta Omega Chapter - Chicago and in my church, Trinity United Church of Christ. I am an amateur genealogist and the world's greatest grandmother.
